Aanestad Engineering has delivered equipment for the postal services since the start of the company in 1987. Most of the post offices and terminals are now equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from us. We deliver everything from complete units with roller and conveyor systems to the simpler types of transporting units, all tailor made to suit the requirements from each site. The handover process also includes assembly, hook-up, start-up and training.

“In 1990, The Norwegian Post Service decided to build a new terminal in order to strengthen our position and increase the capacity for handling packages and Direct Mail products. Aanestad Engineering was given the contract for the rollers and conveyor belt systems. One of the requirements for the system was to bring the packets from the deposit areas to the sorting machines on the mezzanine level. This was accomplished with a total of 16 feeding lines. The complete delivery from Aanestad was a total of 1250 meters of motorized rollers and 750 meters of conveyor belts. We are very pleased with the detailed construction, manufacture and commissioning done by Aanestad..”
