Aanestad has more than 50 years of airport experience and is the leading manufacturer of baggage handling systems in Norway. We have supplied the solutions to nearly all the Norwegian airports in addition to several major international airports all over Europe. Even on the Noi Bai Airport in Vietnam, the baggage handling system is made by us. Our list of references is extensive and confirms our growing reputation in the market.
We construct, manufacture and assemble complete systems for baggage handling of any kind. If required, we also assist in the management of projects, all the way from idea to completed installation. In addition to this, we also deliver specially made systems for Check-in Sets consisting of weighing conveyor, labelling conveyor and dispatch conveyor. All the standard equipment on the Check-in Sets is in stainless steel and assembled with a tilt device.
In the top international league.
Our solutions are recognized as high quality both nationally and internationally. In Norway, we are market leaders with Oslo Airport Gardermoen as the main reference. We are also engaged in most of the other airports through our service agreements. In 2004/2005 together with Avinor, we carried out a safety upgrade of the baggage systems on all the 39 airports in Norway.
Also on the international arena, we have had many big and challenging deliveries. In the Madrid airport Barajas we delivered a total of 176 check-in sets, and in the Brussels Airport we delivered 106 conveyors. Still it is the Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv that gave us the biggest challenge, where we delivered 130 check-in sets, constructed 451 conveyor belts with a total length of 4.5 km, 131 conveyed curves, 14 deflectors, 21 loading conveyors and 32 fire doors.
